Nellie's Park
Located on the north side of Highway #2, this park provides a nice location for travelers with trailers/campers to take time out from their travels. Covered picnic tables/benches and shade from the sun offer the traveler a restful place to stop. The park was named after Nellie Montgomery, wife of Gordon Montgomery who owned and operated the Public Drug in Wolf Point up until 1964. The Wolf Point City Council had planted some trees in the park area and since Mrs. Nellie Montgomery lived across the street from the park, she took on the job of watering and caring for the trees. To show their appreciation, the Wolf Point City Council named the park in her honor.
Across the highway, is the future home of the Wolf Point Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Center. This is an exciting, coming attraction for the Wolf Point Community.
