The Wolf Point Police Department is comprised of eight (8) sworn officers, a Chief, a Lieutenant, Sergeant, who also serves as the School Resource Officer, four patrol officers and an animal control/reserve officer, and two (2) office personnel including an office manager and a victim witness advocate.

The Department provides 24 hour service and protection to the community with the police officers maintaining a constant vigil for the citizens of Wolf Point. We patrol the city with a fleet of five (5) vehicles.

The Department is involved with the DARE program, Clandestine laboratory training and awareness, and many personal involvements commitments within the community. The agency stresses the value of training professional officers committed to the well-being of the department and the community as a whole. After receiving 12-weeks of training at the Montana Law Enforcement Academy in Helena, officers receive additional training at many locations statewide.

The Department’s office is located in the City Office building at 201 4th Avenue South. Within the offices, the department manages the day to day operation. Calls for service are dispatched through the 9-1-1 Center located at the Roosevelt County Law Enforcement Center.
