The City of Wolf Point and Roosevelt County jointly own the property on which the airport is located, which is known as L.M. Clayton Airport. The City of Wolf Point incurs all of the airport expenses and collects all revenue obtained from the sale of fuel, tie downs, hangar rentals, lot leases, etc. The City in turn bills Roosevelt County for half of the expenses, less revenues and bills them for their equal share of any airport loan agreement. Roosevelt County obtains liability insurance for all of the airports located within the county and then proportionally bills each entity for their respective share of the liability insurance. The City of Wolf Point provides all utility services and also obtains property insurance coverage for all of the buildings, with the exception of the individual owned hangers.
